House and cottages were wonderful! All bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with plenty of soap, paper towels, dish washer tabs, toilet paper. Even though the hot tub was unavailable, disappointed but understand about maintenance. Highly recommended place to stay for a low key getaway!!close to everything in town!
Beautiful home felt comfy and has lots of character. Was able to have our large family all stay together. Very close to Saugatuck. Kitchen was well stocked. Host was super responsive and kind.
Convenient location- Douglas, Saugatuck and Holland. State park and beach were a short drive. Charming vintage home. Cabins and outdoor space was a bonus along with the provided firewood. Lots of space and bathrooms. Enjoyed our stay with family.
Lovely place, fantastic location, easy check in/check out and didn’t have a ridiculous list of check out activities. Amenities were as described and the house/cabin layout was great for multiple groups of people…we enjoyed our stay a lot and highly recommend for multiple groups-family stays and/or teenagers who want...

I booked this for my friends and family to stay for a long weekend! This house was PERFECT! We all had plenty of room, the cottages were amazing, and the hot tub was a hit! We were able to walk to the Chain Ferry and while it is a fine walk, the amount of traffic on the road made it a little iffy. But I loved the walk and it was well worth for the ferry ride! The kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful and the beds were comfortable! Such a charming house and we all had a great time! The wildlife was so amazing - we saw deer, geese, and turtles! No complaints from me and my group!! The host was super quick to respond - we had a little mix up with the door code and she helped immediately!! Nothing but great things to say!
We were all very impressed with this home in Saugatuck/Douglass. The shuttle to pick you up and drop you off right at the door for $1 per person, each way, was great and very helpful. We were unable to get into one of the cabins, but they were quick to respond. We ended up staying in the home and didn’t need the cabins by the time everyone arrived. However, it is a great opportunity to have the 3 private cabins that home with the home, for the same price. Everything was beautiful and clean. The games in the game room need to be looked over for pieces missing in many of them. However, this in no way brings down their rating from a 5 star Airbnb. We plan to make other trips with other group of family and friends to stay here in the future. Lastly, my parents forgot some jackets in the closet that were sentimental to them. They are shipping them to us. This is one of my favorite Airbnb’s that I have stayed in, and hope they are around for many years to come, as we love the area.
It was a beautiful home and property. There was just a bit of a misunderstanding on how many bedrooms are in the home. The listing shows "entire home 8 bedrooms", however that isn't the case. There were 5 (6 if you count a sitting room inside one of the bedrooms). There are 3 cottages that are available but only during the summer. We had a group that needed the 8 bedrooms. We brought air matresses and used the michigan style basement as a bedroom (not ideal) and set up another inside a different bedrooms. There wasn't a lot of room in the house and we also thought the game room was part of the house. It is not. It was in the detached garage, it had space heaters that we tried using but they kept tripping the breaker. So we never used the room, it was too cold. If we had been a small group, the house would have fit our needs.
We enjoyed our stay. We were 9 adults, 1 child and 1 dog and there was plenty of space for us. The 2 main bedrooms were spacious and the ensuite bathrooms were luxurious. Communication with the host was great. They were super responsive to any questions/issues. We had some trouble opening the door with the code when we first arrived and the host responded immediately. The hot tub was a great added feature and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. A couple of notes on the hot tub -it is somewhat dated and we could not get the hot tub blue tooth speaker for music to work. Overall, the place is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We would stay here again!
We had a great weekend stay here! The host was super responsive and even let us check in early and out late. The house was clean, cozy, and had plenty of rooms for everyone. The extra cabins were perfect for family members who wanted more privacy. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and the kitchen had lots of space for cooking. We loved hanging out in the backyard around the campfire and hot tub. Only suggestions: better lighting outside at night (or clearer instructions if lights are there) and improving the air circulation in the playroom, which had a bit of a smell. We couldn't use that room. Overall, a really nice house in a great location near the lake—perfect for a big family getaway!
We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Surprisingly well equipped kitchen-even has a full size ice machine!!!
Such an amazing stay! We had a group of 15 and we were very comfortable with our sleeping arrangements. The host was super responsive. Very clean and stocked kitchen. Great backyard area with plenty of chairs around the fire place. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken which was a bummer, but other than that the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend using Cindy's taxi service while staying in this area, they send mini vans for $15 and come faster than ubers do!
