We loved everything about our stay at this cabin! It was clean, cute, and cozy inside and the hot tub and fire pit (with firewood and lighter fluid already stocked) were nice amenities! The WiFi worked very well, we were able to get some online work done, use our phones, and stream Netflix. The location was perfect...
We enjoyed staying here! Perfect for a couple who needed to get away. 25 minutes from Ruby Falls and Rock City which we spent our time there!

Home Layout: As you enter Lucky’s Cottage through the front door, you are greeted by a spacious and well-lit living room with a smart TV and fireplace. On the right is the dining room and table set for four. As you continue through the house you will find the fully stocked kitchen complete with a fridge, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig for your morning coffee (single serve or whole pot option and medium roast grounds provided during your stay) as well as an island for convenient food preparation and serving. Off of the kitchen is the laundry room with a washer and dryer and to the left of that space is the full bathroom. Back through the kitchen and off to the right, you will find the master bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed, closet, TV, and work space.
Guests will have full private access to the entire home and surrounding grounds during their stay.

The king bed was very comfy,like sleeping on a cloud.The couch should be replaced with something more comfy.Its very hard with hardly any padding.The fenced yard was good for our 2 dogs,but it does sit on a hill, so playing fetch was challenging for them.Overall if we needed to stay close to Chattanooga again we would consider this place,if they replace the couch. Host was responsive and accommodating.

The location was perfect, close (20mins) to all the best hiking spots and restaurants the Chattanooga area has to offer, but still with that off the grid mountain feel. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay again in the future!

The house I stayed at through River City Vacation Rentals was great! They’re dog friendly, which was the first planning factor I was concerned with for my trip, and there was no pet fee. The place felt very comfortable inside and everything was very clean. I especially loved the bed sheets and mattress, it was one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept in! The fenced in yard is big enough for bigger dogs to walk around. The staff were very friendly and extremely quick to respond to any comments or questions I had, which I respect tremendously. The check in and check out information was very accurate and easy to follow. I fully recommend this place to anyone desiring a comfortable and pet-friendly stay!
Went there during the week to elope. The house was perfect. Everything was only about a 20 minute drive to where we needed to go. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with materials needed to cook. I love that they left out a cleaning spray for us to use. They also knew we had a dog so they conveniently covered the couch with a pet cover. Which was super nice. I inquired about seating near the fire pit let me know there was none. We brought camping chairs, however when we arrived we noticed they placed chairs around the fire pit for us (so nice). We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the front porch, whole we tied down our dog and let her explore. It was perfect for what we were there for and such a cute house. I would say to put a shower mat more visible. We found one eventually. We have discussed plans to come back in the future. Loved it. Thank you.
Overall, cute and clean place. It is an older home &has that basementy smell inside. I booked this place because of the hot tub & fenced in yard. I was not able to allow my small dog to be off the leash inside the fence because the squares in the fencing were too large. The hot tub was nice &has a privacy fence. The charcoal grill is like the kind you see at parks. The gas station directly across the street has really bright lights &the house is off a main road so the traffic is heavy. The home has blinds, curtains, fans, and sound machines so the store and traffic didn’t bother us. It wasn’t listed for us but there is a Keurig &there are hot tub towels. We weren’t there but to sleep&shower so this place worked out for us. The bed and linens were cozy. I didn’t feel like this was really a dog friendly place. There was a couch cover yet the listing says no dogs on furniture. I didn’t see anything dog related as I have in other places. It was good for what we needed. Best communication!
10/10 would stay again. The fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. The house was great for the weekend. Very short drive to Chattanooga. Comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Loved it.
