We went Oval beach by the lake for a beach day and we did donut ride on Kalamazoo River which was so enjoyable and relaxing. The Bella Vita Vacation Rentals contacted us before, during and after our stay to make sure we had a great stay. Their local team brought us a new shower curtain, a bundle of wood, a microwave according to our request. Their service was above and beyond. Thank you for offering a lovely place and a great service for us to have a wonderful and memorable time there.

This is a great location and unique house. Our family enjoyed the open floor concept of the main level. Cooling can be a bit tricky in the hot summer but we also brought fans with us in preparation. Additionally, the bathrooms can be a bit tight and the toilets are slow to refill but those are really the only noticeable things. Otherwise, we enjoyed the proximity to the water, outside areas, and opportunity to gather and connect.
Tonawanda is a beautiful old home with beautiful surroundings and walkable to the downtown Saugatuck area. I agree with other reviews about the A/C issues. Bedrooms on bottom floor will get very cold but the two bedrooms upstairs stay much warmer. It’s definitely a more rustic stay and dimly lit throughout but we enjoyed it and the natural beauty.
This treasure is why Air BnB exists. Loved everything about the cottage and it's location. The light that streams through the giant windows? Magical. Hope to be able to stay here again soon!
Gorgeous home with lots of history! We loved our time here.
