We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable, clean, and felt like home.
The house is beautiful and perfect for what we needed. The neighborhood is a little scruffy but its location and convenience to Churchill Downs, the Univ of Louisville stadiums, and grocery stores was great
The landscaping has beautiful flowers. The linens and towels were very nice. The kitchen had all the right things to make a nice meal. You would never know the owner of the home was living on the property. So that was just fine.

You’re just minutes from everyday conveniences, casual dining, and one of the city’s largest parks, offering scenic overlooks, walking trails, and open green space. It’s an easy drive to downtown attractions, while still giving you a quieter place to come back to at the end of the day.
A car is recommended for getting around Louisville. Rideshare services including Lyft + Uber are readily available, and most attractions are within a short 5–15 minute drive.

The homeowner lives in a separate apartment on-site, but the home is set up to ensure guests have their own space and privacy. Guests have full use of all outdoor areas, with designated parking available in the driveway. Please note, there is no basement or garage access.

Amazing host and beautiful home!
We had a great stay at this Airbnb. Perfect space for multiple families to stay. We did miss the part of the description stating the owner lives in the basement. You can hear them down there and we saw them in the backyard a couple times. Overall not an issue though, they were very sweet and not loud. Shannon was a responsive host who answered all of our questions quickly. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for the Derby weekend. 15-minute walk to the gates of Churchill Downs. Mexican restaurant next door that had great food & huge margaritas! The house was clean & comfortable.
Perfect location for our Churchill Downs weekend. The home is well kept, clean and fully stocked with all the basics. The deck and yard provided a great outdoor space for grilling and relaxing. The host was very proactive during our stay. Would recommend for any large group. 6 minutes from airport and 3 minutes to Churchill. Very close to the University as well. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for our stay.
Shannon was amazing! She called us before check in to offer us an early check in and answered any questions we had. The home was spotless. My favorite part of the home was the kitchen. Very well stocked with everything we needed to cook a nice dinner. 10 minute walk to Churchill Downs. I would absolutely stay here when i come back to Louisville!
Derby Days Retreat was a great spot for our trip. The home felt very clean and had a ton of space, which made it ideal for our group. There are multiple areas to hang out, so it never felt crowded, but it’s still easy to spend time together. We especially liked the sunroom in the mornings, and the backyard setup was perfect for winding down at night with the firepit and covered patio. The kitchen was well equipped and the open layout made it easy to cook and socialize at the same time. The location made everything simple. Very close to Churchill Downs and a quick drive to anywhere else we needed to go in Louisville. Check in was smooth and communication with the host was easy throughout. Really comfortable stay overall and a place we’d happily book again.
