Really beautiful home in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Cooking in the well-stocked kitchen was an absolute delight. Good quality cookware and had everything we needed and more. The beds were all very comfy and everything was very clean. The saltwater pool was perfect and there were lots of floaties and beach toys and even a wagon. Plenty of towels for everyone for showers, beach and pool! The roads in the neighborhood aren’t very walkable (no sidewalks) but we didn’t have a problem getting to Douglas beach (15 min walk) and even walked to Mt. Baldhead/Oval Beach (40 min walk) and into Saugatauk (45 min walk) during our time here, just had to be mindful of cars. There’s a very cute coffee shop nearby if you’re willing to leave the screened porch for morning coffee (I wasn’t). Our host was very responsive and helpful and all check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy.

Beautiful home with most everything we needed. Loved the pool, although we didn’t think it was 82°. Felt chillier, but that didn’t deter us from swimming in it every day. Great location. Close to everything we wanted to do and see. Fabulous AC. Hot water for all 6 of us. Used the provided wood on the last day. Comfortable beds. Maybe a couple of throw blankets in living room would be nice. Excellent AirBnB. A bit expensive for a four night stay, but homes here are pricey.

Such a great house! We had a party of 10 (6 adults, 4 young adults). We had so much space & plenty of bathrooms! The house was so clean & everyone commented on how comfortable their bed was. The pool was fantastic! Spent a lot of time there. The young adults enjoyed the rec room. Quick walk to beach & was able to bike all over. Close to lots of shopping & restaurants. Great open concept for communal space. Kitchen was well stocked & dining table was a great space for board games. The screened in room was a great place to read in the morning. So much wildlife all around to enjoy. We take a Michigan beach vacation every summer & this house has been our favorite. Would absolutely stay here again!

This home was amazing! It was very spacious, clean, and full of amenities. The kitchen was wonderful, Crate and Barrell dishes, everything you need to cook great meals, just can't say enough about it. There's plenty of storage space everywhere. We stayed in the master bedroom and didn't begin to use all the closet space. The pool was fantastic and the largest pool we've ever had at a VRBO. We used the additional game room in the garage building next to the house for movies and games and it was a great additional venture place for the family. The setting is lovely, lots of trees, hills, and wildlife. There were multiple deer, including babies, walking by the house every morning. We even saw a buck with a large rack of antlers - so beautiful! We stayed here with our two sons, wives and grandchildren. We've stayed in other VRBOs previously and everyone agreed this is the best home of all. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The house was as described. All the appliances/cookware was top notch. We had all the kitchen items we needed. The host was quick to respond to any questions. The place was perfect for a multi-generational group. There was plenty of room to spread out. The game room/garage was perfect for watching world cup matches. The neighborhood was low traffic, so we didn't have to worry about the kids. We were close to town. We are already talking about reserving this house again for next year!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. We had six adults and two kids and it was a great set up for our group. The kids got the basement to themselves and loved it. It was in the high 80s when we visited Saugatuck and the ACs were up for the job. We all loved the big pool and the garage/game room. Lots of pool toys and a decently stocked kitchen all helped make this a comfortable stay. After many, many stays in rental homes we look closely at pictures and knew ahead of time that there were windows in three of the bedrooms that did not have coverings on them. Just something to note if you’re a light sleeper- we brought travel curtains with us and it worked well.

We absolutely enjoyed every minute at the Lakeshore property. The home was so well equipped with all the necessary items (even items that we were not expecting like a variety of pool floats and beach chairs). The home is so well furnished that one could easily just bring their clothing and not miss a single thing. We also appreciated the quality of linens, towels, and provided bath products which were superior to what we typically would find at a rental. I thought the Douglas location would be further away from downtown Saugatuck, but it was so convenient and in a perfect location. We loved seeing the wildlife outside every day and the kids absolutely loved the pool and game room. It was a beautiful experience. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in Douglas, Michigan. The home was immaculate and beautifully maintained, and the setting was peaceful with gorgeous views that made it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. Our kids had a great time, especially enjoying the pool, which was a highlight of the trip. The atmosphere throughout the property was calm and restorative, and we loved being surrounded by nature. Seeing wildlife each day—especially deer wandering through—was such a special touch that made the experience feel even more memorable. Overall, this was an exceptional stay for our family. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed our time here. The house was very clean. It was peaceful too. It’s not real far off the road, but the home is situated behind a garage making it more private. Also big windows in the living area face the back and overlook a beautiful landscaped area. We saw deer almost daily. The pool is pretty large with the deep end being 9’. The game room area near pool would make for a great summer experience. It’s within easy walking of a publicly accessible beach that feels more like a private one. The neighborhood is peaceful and we felt very safe.
