Each bedroom features a queen size bed and TV. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house with the living area in the center, providing plenty of privacy. There is a Pack n' Play and kid's toys on site, along with family board games. Water and food bowls are provided if you bring a furry friend!

This is the second time I have stayed here. The location is perfect and the home is so cozy and nicely decorated. The hot tub is such a great feature for those cold fall evenings. Everything is new and fresh!! I hope to be back again next year. Thanks for being excellent hosts.
Christy's place was exactly as described in the AIRBNB listing. Well stocked with items in all categories. Very cute and comfortable, felt homey. Loved the front porch. Enjoyed sitting there in the mornings drinking our coffee and tea. If and when we are back in the area, we would love to stay here again, if available.
Clean, quality furnishings and linens. Quiet, comfortable, well organized. Great place to stay for access to Great Smoky Mts NP and other western NC sites. Wayneville nice place to stay. Would stay here again.

Steps Away Cottage is located on a quiet, tree-lined street with plenty of privacy for you and your guests. Downtown Waynesville is only a 5 minute walk from the house, giving you easy access to top local activities and eateries. Some of our favorite destinations are: the Wall Street Book Exchange, Smokey Mountain Sandwich Shop, Sassafras Toy Store, The Sweet Onion, Wildflour Blue Bakery, Orchard Coffee, and the Blue Ridge Beer Hub. If you feel like takeout during your stay, UberEats and DoorDash are available. There's also a Chick-Fil-A a few minutes down the road along with lots of grocery store options. We recommend our local Ingles.

Absolutely incredible visit. House was incredible. Good communication and Waynesville is awesome.
We really enjoyed our stay in Waynesville and this listing was perfect. It’s a short (uphill) walk to Main Street for shopping, food, and drinks. We travelled by motorcycle and this home was also a great “base” to go explore Cherokee/Maggie Valley/Bryson City.

Lovely house, great location in easy walking distance to Main Street. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Bathrooms are also well stocked. The showers are very slick, so be sure to use the anti-slip mats. Otherwise, a fantastic stay, highly recommend.
Christy was an amazing host! We were very impressed on how right at home it felt when we arrived! It was super clean and it was even better than what the pictures showed. Location is great, walkable to shopping/bars/restaurants. House was fully stocked with soaps, coffee, tons of kitchen supplies, games, and Netflix. Christy thought of everything. Highly recommend
