Very nice place to stay. Loved that we could access Blue Ridge Parkway visitor center . Loved that!!!
Everything about our stay was exceptional. We were in town for my sister's bachelorette weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. The location feels remote and private but is just 10 minutes from downtown and right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So convenient for going to town or exploring the nearby hiking trails. The home itself was clean, had plenty of space for all of us, the large kitchen was beautiful and allowed us to make several meals at home, and the deck provided gorgeous views for cool mornings and evenings. Christy was easy to reach if we needed anything and so kind. The shared pond and firepit area was perfect for our private yoga class one morning and for smores at night. The neighbors were incredibly kind and further enhanced our stay. They even brought over a bottle of champagne for the bride! I've already recommended this place to friends and family who plan to visit Asheville. 5 star experience all around. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
We loved this little retreat that was very to drivable to all the things we wanted to do. It was very comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, spacious, and open, which was perfect for our family with kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and for the kids to run around and play. The porch was definitely a highlight. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Overall, a great home for a relaxing family getaway in Asheville!
We loved our stay - the views from the porch were beautiful. Fabulous kitchen with more than everything we needed. Great house for our group!
Very clean cabin in a private area. It’s a max 20 minutes from most of Asheville. Instructions were clear on check-in. Everything with the cabin was great.
The house is fantastic. It's secluded yet just ten minutes from downtown. It was perfect for our weekend. Christy was very communicative and responsive. Highly recommended!
The home is a lovely restored farmhouse. The host and communication as well as check in were easy. There are lots of lovely things about this property. Lots of room, comfy beds, and remote location are great. We traveled all over the area each day and visited many areas about an hour in each direction. The central location was convenient. The bonfire area is actually at the adjacent property a short walk down the hill. Read the property description carefully. There is one tv, located in the living room. The master bedroom with bathroom is on the main level. The master bath has a tub, a toilet, a steam shower that is small, and a sink. There is no real counter space and the toilet is small as well. It is cute and rustic but a bit of an adventure. Think camper/RV size. There is a half bath off the living room that is very nice. But again no real countertop space. Downstairs is a great room with fireplace and two beds. There are two additional bedrooms and a full bath downstairs as well. The kitchen is large and well equipped. A walk-in pantry has shelving as well as a high chair. There is a large dining table and seating for 8. Washer and dryer are located in the downstairs laundry room. There is lots of space to sit outside on the surrounding porches both upstairs as well as downstairs. The driveway is steep and is gravel. Stairs from the main level to the ground level and the steep driveway might present a problem for someone who has mobility /balance issues
We really did enjoy our stay! Saw lots of wildlife, including two bears, and one deer who came straight up to the house in the three nights that we stayed. Very close to downtown and we were able to see the fireworks from the property on the Fourth of July. The rental was ready for us on time and had everything that we needed for our stay. Even though the rental said it was pet friendly, it didn’t have a smell like pets had ever been in there nor did it appear that way. It feels very secluded for the most part, but at the same time you’re only about 15 to 20 minutes from lots of things. It was an enjoyable experience for me and my family. We would stay again.
