Beautiful, private, and peaceful! This cottage was the perfect relaxing retreat. The area is quiet and private, and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the mountain air. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well stocked. The host was very kind and reached out immediately to check if we needed anything after we checked in. Plus, it was a quick and easy drive to downtown Black Mountain and not far to downtown Asheville.
Would recommend this Airbnb for a quiet getaway in the Asheville area! The place is nicely nestled in the mountains, has a good backyard and very close to black mountain downtown and around 30 minutes from Asheville downtown!

This was our first visit to Black Mountain and it was worth every second. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort went into not only the house itself, but also the decor and pristine landscaping. From the little creek running through the yard to the beautiful mix of flowers in the garden, everything was beautifully maintained. It was so nice to sit on the back deck and enjoy the scenery! The house was cozy and felt like we were staying at a villa in Europe. The town of Black Mountain is a quick 10 minute drive with cute shops for gifts, restaurants and breweries! Such a unique experience getting to stay in a home like this and check out for a few days!
Beautiful setting, exceptional home.
This home and property were so beautiful. We stayed here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The host is super responsive and the family who owns the house are so so kind. We ran into them a few times and they were such sweet people. If we visit Asheville again this will have to be a top contender. The setting, the landscaping, the construction of the house were really sublime. From hummingbirds to butterflies, to deer and bunnies it was like a Hans Christian Anderson tale. The linens and towels were also quite lovely, as were the walk in showers for my 90 plus year old parents. The kitchen had everything we needed and ate every meal at home. Thank you for a memorable stay!
This place is amazing!! Exactly as described and like the pictures. Christy was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The location is gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful — we even had a few bear sightings during our visit! The home and garden have been impeccably maintained. The house is beautiful, extremely clean, and very comfortable. We absolutely loved staying here, and we plan to stay again when we’re back in town. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
