Emerald Lodge is in a mountain setting above Nickajack Lake near South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The wooded surroundings offer a peaceful retreat, with lake views through the trees in winter. Hales Bar Marina is about 10 minutes away, and Chattanooga is about 30 minutes away for restaurants and attractions.

Downstairs, the large game room level has a pool table, two large flat-screen TVs, and games for the entire group. The back patio offers a hot tub, with a wood-burning fire pit and charcoal grill outdoors.
Family-Friendly Details
A stair gate for the upstairs landing, Pack ’n Play, bedroom sound machines, and children’s plastic dishes are provided. Alexa Bluetooth devices are located throughout the home, and all bedrooms except the bunk room have their own TVs.
Home Layout
To the right of the front door is a queen bedroom with a private full bathroom. To the left are a half bathroom off the living room, a large laundry room, and the luxurious primary master suite. Its bathroom has a soaking tub, large glass shower, and double vanity.
Downstairs, the second living area and game room open through double doors to the back patio. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are on this level. The bunk room has four twin beds, and the other two bedrooms each have a queen bed.

We couldn't have asked for a better environment! The space was beautiful and matched our color scheme well. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals and shaking up cocktails! Having the game room with the pool table and shuffleboard, hot tub, and fire pit made our 'post-ceremony' fun perfect! Room to dance, be silly, and get a little competitive at games - then just chill out too. We loved the visitors from the woods each day! If we needed a space like this again, I wouldn't hesitate to rent it! It was exactly what we envisioned. I wish we could share photos - it truly was a magical time for us.

This is by far my absolute favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. With our family being so large it’s always hard to find something that works for everyone but this one really did. Not only was it incredibly well stocked (we had a family dinner during our stay and the baby gate came in so handy) but it was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. I lived in the lovely bathroom robe and enjoyed a long soak in the bathtub, my husband loved the nespresso, and my kids loved the hot tub. We’d come back to the area just for the house! Thank you for such an incredible stay.

We were a group of gals celebrating a 40th birthday, and had such a lovely time! The house was clean, quiet, & simply beautiful. The location was perfect to feel tucked away in nature, but close enough for a quick drive into the city for exploring or dinner. Would 100% rent again.

This Airbnb was such a beautiful oasis. We were working In Chattanooga and used this home for our base. It is STUNNING. Very clean, well furnished and some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had. The bathrooms were sparkling clean with soft towels and ample supplies. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. The kitchen was so easy to cook in. Lots of dishes, pots, pans, spices, etc. We enjoyed our meals there. WiFi worked great but we didn’t watch any TV because the outdoor area is too beautiful. The outdoor area is heaven on earth. Tree canopies provide ample shade. The furniture on the porches were comfortable and in great condition. We didn’t use the hot tub but there’s one if you’re inclined. The hosts were knowledgeable and answered any questions quickly and professionally. I didn’t want to leave and I hope to visit again when we can relax and spend the entire day exploring. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to stay! Everything looks just like the photos. Just for anyone else reading the reviews and description- I come from a very flat state and thought the drive up the mountain was totally fine (caveat- we did not stay during ice/snow times). Our minivan and Camry handled it with no issues.
