Everything was fine.
Quiet and peaceful, a great place for a family getaway. Near enough to local events and the beach. But not in a busy or chaotic area. Quality stay.
We had a great stay at this house. We loved having the pool to switch things up from the lake with little kids. The house had a slightly odd smell (maybe a smoker’s house before being remodeled) and it was $25/hour to add early check in or late check out, which I didn’t love considering it was over $500/day already...

Rideshare services are limited in this area, but driving is easy and parking is plentiful. Biking is also popular nearby, especially along scenic trails and country roads.

Guests will have full private access to the entire property, pool, outdoor acreage, and its amenities. Self check-in is available via a smart lock for a smooth arrival. Plenty of parking is available on-site, with space for multiple vehicles. WiFi details and house information will be provided before check-in.

However, we enjoyed the house and it fit what we needed for our little vacation. It is conveniently about 9 minutes from everything in South Haven.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay, especially the large private pool. Accomendations were very good, kitchen is supplied well and the outdoor space/yard includes eating areas and room for the grandchildren to roam and enjoy.
We had a wonderful stay in South Haven while celebrating my birthday! The house was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the beautiful wooden floors instead of carpet, which made the home feel extra clean and inviting. The kitchen was incredibly well organized and fully stocked, so we ended up cooking most of our meals instead of eating out. The outdoor BBQ and the thoughtful s'mores kit made our evenings around the bonfire extra special, especially with the unexpectedly chilly weather. The pool was a huge hit with our kids and truly saved our trip, since the lake wasn't safe for swimming due to the high winds. The host responded to our questions within 10-15 min. Our only minor drawbacks were the steep staircase to the basement with a toddler and the lack of a crib and high chair, so we had to bring our own. Overall, this cozy home helped us create wonderful family memories, and we'd happily stay here again!
Beautiful modern home with a large private pool that is enclosed and very comfortable. Inside the house everything is modern, pristine and well stocked for all your needs. There is a very nice fire pit area with outdoor seating which we used several times. Outdoor patio table seats 6 comfortably and very nice wooded lot which is quiet and pleasant. It is a short drive to downtown South Haven and all its amenities. Would most definitely stay again.
The house was perfect. 4 good size bedrooms, beautiful, clean bathrooms. plenty of parking.
House was easy to find and check in/check out instructions were really clear. The house was nicely cleaned inside. The outside area was somewhat unkept but it was too hot to utilize anything except the pool so it didn’t affect our trip. While located on 10 acres, the house is located right on the road and it’s very busy all the time - it was pretty noisy while in the pool, falling asleep, etc. We’d recommend bringing a sound machine. There is no washer/dryer access which made drying towels difficult from day to day to reuse; we dealt with damp towels for the pool but not a deal breaker. The drive to a state park/beach access is 5-10min and downtown is pretty quick and easy to get to as well. We booked this somewhat last minute and honestly were lucky to find somewhere close to the beach with a pool so for all that it met our basic requirements
This was the perfect place for us and we loved our stay. The house was beautiful, spacious, super clean, and had everything that we needed. The pool and smores kit were definitely a plus that we enjoyed! We had dinner on the patio and enjoyed the peaceful, quiet surroundings. Host was helpful and responsive. Would stay here again.
