The location was excellent, close enough to walk into downtown Douglas for restaurants, shops, galleries, and Wade’s Bayou, while Saugatuck and the beaches are just a short drive away. It was the perfect combination of convenience and a peaceful getaway. Home Base Lakeshore provided a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The home felt welcoming, upscale, and perfect for spending quality time with family or friends. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Douglas/Saugatuck area.

Our stay was so wonderful. This home is gorgeous inside and out. From the minute we got in, it felt so fresh and welcoming as if no one has ever staying there but us! The home had all the amenities we were looking for, including a great outdoor space and hot tub. We will be back!
