Cute place, peaceful location and very walkable. Loved this spot! Comfy beds and nice use of space. Definitely will stay here again!
Close to the Zoo and nature center. We hiked over there twice and with a 4 yr old. Stairs to the second floor are VERY steep. Porch and big flat yard are a plus! There’s even a yoga mat in the closet. Keurig AND larger coffee pot.

Located in the heart of the Poplar Level neighborhood, this private home is walking distance to Joe Creason Park and the Louisville Zoo and less than a 15-minute drive to downtown. The property is also near the Kentucky Expo Center and the University of Louisville, Churchill Downs, and Louisville International Airport. The area is highly walkable and there are several trails in the nearby park, as well as access to local public transportation options.
Uber and Lyft are available nearly 24/7 and can take you anywhere in the city. There is also a TARC bus stop along Poplar Level Road (Poplar Level & Quarry Hill), less than a 5 minute walk from the property.

We have stayed here twice now, and will definitely be staying again! The location is great, right beside the zoo and a short drive to the Expo Center. The porch is a great place to wind down at the end of the day, and the yard is huge and would be a great place for children to play in. The communication regarding the property was fantastic. They were extremely proactive in assisting with anything we needed. Kind, genuine people, highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful location the house was clean and peaceful. It was just as it was described. The host was quick to respond when I had questions.
We stayed at the house for a short trip to Louisville. It was the perfect location for what we had planned. The zoo, the Mega Cavern and Kentucky Kingdom were all very close. It was absolutely perfect location. Our last evening there we had a deer and 2 fawns in the yard just walking around and eating the grass. They were not afraid at all. As we watched them, 6 more deer came in the yard. We were able to sit on the porch and just watch them. One even laid down in the yard right off the back deck. It was so peaceful watching them, and then watching us back. The kids loved it. We even had to FaceTime our family at home and even with us talking they did not appear fearful or run away.
Shannon’s place was absolutely charming! We were in town for the week for a wedding, so there was a lot of coming and going, but the house had plenty of space for everyone to relax when we had down time. The front porch was especially enjoyable, it was the perfect spot to sip coffee each morning and watch the deer. Additionally, Shannon was very accommodating when our flight was delayed.

We had a wonderful stay! Shannon, the house manager, was attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. The house had a beautiful old charm that made our stay feel special, and the location was amazing. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
